Pi-hole won't block youtube ads, at least not the in-video ads. You need youtube premium to get rid of them, no way to block those I'm afraid.

Noted - I don't get ads on the PC(s), likely due to different adblocker there.

    and well - dang.

How are they being blocked on the PC... something other than blacklists/DNS not resolve...

My default had been to install adblocker when building a PC,.. so it's likely still running even with the pi-hole running.

Right, but how do most of those work? as far as I know they work by blocking DNS queries

The three app stores that are baked into devices (excluding Amazon)

Apple: The exclusive club that allows business transactions on its premises but don't piss off the owners or you're out on your ear. Google Play: The we accept anyone club where people come to hang out and do a bit of business. Pick pockets and thieves go unnoticed but are thrown out upon discovery. Windows store: The wild west, lawless, don't trust anyone. A marshall/law bringer comes to town every-so-often, throws out a few trouble makers, doesn't finish cleaning up the place before leaving again.

Ah very possible - Yea,.. I have a Samsung for the WiFi Analyzer as well. Wished there was on on the iOS but that is more on Apple than developers. Apple doesn't allow access to the network Stack ( last I heard).

I used to have a great one on iOs until Apple blocked access.

That was infuriating to me. One of the reasons I switched to Android 4 phones ago.

Based on what is said there and what HyperV is.... I would guess that HyperV is not being used at all for the 360 tasks. They probably have a standard emulator, tried and true, just running on top of the One's OS. Nothing more than that. No need for the complications and problems of trying to make HyperV into a PowerPC emulator.
